The Princess And Her Knight

There was a cutesy princess so tender and fair,
That lived through her days without any despair,
Until the day where her valiant knight departed,
To fight for a country and to keep it well-guarded,
She loved the knight with all her heart and love,
With a love beyond this world that can only be sent from up above,
The knight as well was overcome with passionate emotions,
And chose to make the princess his one and only devotion,
So when that sad day came to pass, he too was at a loss,
For he would miss her smiling face and the distance is too much to cross,
In his absence, the princess still waits for her dear knight,
While he goes out protecting the country and experiencing all kind of fright,
But nothing is too much for this brave knight you see,
Since the memories of his princess’s laughter and the Lord Jesus fill him with glee,
Times goes on and so do the days,
But no obstacle can ever set their love astray,
Eventually the knight does come back for his waiting princess in her tower,
And he showers her with his undying love and her favorite flower,
And they reunite once again,
Even though time made their love restrain,
But this love only grew ten-fold,
And they wedded as the story is told,
And now that humble knight has become known as King Arthur,
Even though he is a king, he’s still the queen’s knight in shining armor.
