A Winter Paradise

One Christmas day, when I was happy as I can be,
I look out my window to see
A snow paradise in front of me!
There is snow everywhere,
Even on yards, cars, and who knows what elsewhere!

This was the first snow of the year,
Which I was happy to see and hear
As the snow was making a pat-pat-pat beat
Against my window and the street,
It looked so soft and white,
Illuminating all the Christmas lights.

The world seemed quiet,
As if all of man-kind should be silent,
To this wonderful sight,
Even the animals were not full of fright,
There was not even a squeak or hiss,
As the world was enjoying this.

I just wanted all the world to see,
One of Mother Nature's majesties,
I thank her for making a wonderful gift,
That anyone can get,
Even the poor,
Who beg on every door,
And the rich with many presents under the tree,
Can see the wonder of the snow's beauty.

Christmas was complete with this,
So all I could say is,
Merry Christmas everyone,
To all the fathers, mothers, uncles. aunts, daughters, and sons,
Or basically anyone!!!
